Polypropylene Plastic Bar Stools

Creating our sturdy plastic bar stools requires a specialised approach. We use high-grade polypropylene, known for its durability and lightweight properties. 

Our polypropylene (PP) plastic bar stools undergo a multi-step manufacturing process that begins with the selection of high-quality polypropylene pellets. In the injection moulding stage, these pellets are melted and injected into a carefully designed mould to shape the entire stool. Rapid cooling follows to solidify the molten polypropylene, and the demoulding phase ensures the stool retains its intended structure. After cooling and solidification, the stool parts are assembled to form the final design.

Our PP plastic stools are then put through quality control tests, including weight capacity, impact, durability, UV resistance, stability, and materials testing, to ensure they meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

Our matte powder coated metal legs undergo a fascinating transformation, marrying industrial strength with sophisticated aesthetics. The journey begins with choosing the right metal - steel is a popular choice due to its strength & durability. Using techniques like laser cutting, CNC machining, or bending, we transform the metal into the desired frame shape with high accuracy. It then undergoes degreasing to get rid of any surface contaminants for optimal adhesion of the coating. 

The heart of the process lies in the electrostatic powder coating - dry, finely ground particles of paint resins & hardeners, are sprayed onto the charged metal frame. The coated frame is then baked at 350°C, followed by slow cooling, to melt and solidify the powder into a durable finish that resists corrosion and daily wear & tear.

Care guide

• Regular Maintenance: Wipe down the stools regularly with a mild soap solution and a damp cloth to remove dust and general dirt. For stubborn stains, use a soft brush or sponge to gently scrub the affected areas.
• Use Gentle Cleaners: Avoid using abrasive or harsh chemical cleaners on your plastic bar stools as these can strip away the protective layer. Opt instead for mild, non-abrasive cleaning solutions that are gentle on the plastic yet effective in removing dirt and stains.
• Test Cleaning Solutions: Test cleaning solutions on an inconspicuous area: Always test any cleaning solution on a hidden area of the stool before applying it to the visible surface.

Buying Guide

• Counter Height: Before making your decision, make sure to measure the distance from the floor to the underside of your countertop or bar to find out the best seat height for your bar stools. As a general rule, a gap of around 25cm to 30cm is suitable. This allows people to sit comfortably with ample legroom and promotes ergonomic seating at your countertop or bar. Consider an adjustable bar stool, which allows for seamless height adjustment, ensuring comfortable seating for everyone.
• Backrest and Armrests: Decide if you prefer the support of a backrest or the freedom of movement offered by backless stools. Armrests can add comfort for prolonged sitting, but may not be suitable for tight spaces.
