Bouclé is a textured fabric that has gained popularity in the world of dining chairs due to its distinctive appearance and comfort. We craft our boucle dining chairs using a quality blend of wool, cotton, & polyester, which are tightly looped or curled, creating its unique, tactile texture.

Once the weaving is complete, the fabric undergoes a crucial brushing treatment. This step is where the magic happens – it enhances the looped texture and fluffiness of the fabric, creating the distinctive, soft, and cosy feel that people love about bouclé.  

As a final step, our bouclé upholstery receives a protective finish that not only enhances its tactile feel but also makes it more resistant to minor spills and thus easier to clean. The result is a material that boasts not only a visually stunning appearance but also exceptional durability and softness.

Matte Black Powder Coated Metal Legs

Crafted with precision, these dining chairs feature metal legs diligently shaped and welded to create a sturdy and stable foundation. We then apply a matte black powder coating through an electrostatic spray, where finely ground powder particles are evenly distributed across the metal surface. It's then cured under controlled heat to ensure a long-lasting finish that resists wear and tear, protecting your dining chairs from corrosion and damage, all while adding a sleek, contemporary touch to your dining space.

Foam Cushioning

Our dining chairs are fitted with thoughtfully crafted foam cushioning, made from high-quality polyurethane foam. The manufacturing process is extensive, starting with the precise combination of chemical ingredients like polyols and isocyanates. This controlled reaction produces a foam-like material. By introducing gas, we expand this mixture, resulting in lightweight yet supportive, body-conforming foam. 

The foam is then cut and shaped to fit the chair's design. To ensure durability, we subject the foam to extensive testing, including compression and abrasion tests. These tests simulate the wear and tear the foam might experience during everyday use, such as people sitting and getting up from the chair.

Care guide

• General Cleaning: Avoid using harsh chemicals or detergents, as they can damage the fabric and cause fading. Spot cleaning is recommended for most stains. Avoid overall washing, as it can shrink or distort the fabric.
• Spot Cleaning: Address spills promptly by blotting the affected area with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, as it can push the spill deeper into the fabric. For liquid spills, use a paper towel to soak up as much as possible before blotting.
• Gentle touch: Avoid using harsh brushes or abrasive cleaning tools, as they can damage the bouclé fibres. 
• Use Mild Cleaning Agents: Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or strong cleaning agents on bouclé dining chairs to prevent fabric damage, colour fading, and texture alteration. Opt for gentle, water-based cleaning solutions and always test in a small, inconspicuous area before application to ensure compatibility.
• Occasional Vacuuming: Vacuum your bouclé chairs occasionally to help remove deeper dirt, dust mites and pet hair that can accumulate in the fabric. Use the lowest suction setting on your vacuum cleaner & always vacuum in the direction of the nap to avoid damaging the fibres and pay extra attention to the seams and crevices where dirt can accumulate.

Sizing Guide

Chair Spacing: Maintain a space of at least 15cm between dining chairs to prevent overcrowding. Adequate spacing allows diners to move in and out of their seats easily, promoting a more enjoyable and functional dining experience. Consider the overall dimensions of the dining area when determining the optimal chair spacing.

Space to Move: Leave around 60cm between the chair back and your wall. This allows you and your guests to sit comfortably and manoeuvre without feeling cramped. Proper proximity ensures a seamless dining experience, allowing people to access their seats with ease.

Number of Chairs: Assess the available space around the dining table to determine the practical number of chairs that can comfortably fit. Consider the table's size, shape, and room dimensions to ensure adequate spacing between chairs for both visual appeal and ease of movement. Below is a general guide, but these are flexible dependent on the chair size and desired level of comfort:

Rectangular Tables

• 100cm or below: 4 people
• 110cm-170cm: 4-6 People
• 180cm-220cm: 6-8 People
• 230cm and above: 10+ People

Round Tables

• 60cm-80cm: 2 People
• 90cm-110cm: 4 People
• 120cm-150cm: 4-6 People
