SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS
SECTION 2 - GENERAL CONDITIONS
SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
SECTION 4 - MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
Occasionally, we may provide products at discounted or promotional prices. Discount codes will be available for a limited time. These offers are applicable to specific products and are contingent upon product availability, and can be withdrawn at any time. Please be aware that delivery charges, terms, and geographic restrictions may be applicable. For detailed pricing information, refer to the individual product details. We are unable to apply discounts or promotions retroactively once an order has been placed.
In the event that you return an order on which a discount code was used, your refund will be calculated based on the full amount minus the applied discount.
SECTION 5 - PRODUCTS OR SERVICES (if applicable)
SECTION 6 - DELIVERY SERVICE
At Clickabode Ltd, we operate on a Direct Home Delivery fulfilment model, commonly referred to as 'Drop Shipping.' This business approach entails sourcing our products from trusted third-party suppliers, who not only provide the products but also manage the delivery process either through their in-house logistics or via their designated third-party delivery services. It's important to note that communications pertaining to the delivery of your orders may originate from these third-party suppliers and/or their designated third party delivery services, and not directly from Clickabode Ltd. This ensures a seamless and efficient delivery process managed by the entities responsible for the sourcing and dispatch of the products you've chosen.
Due to the size and nature of our products, It is your responsibility to make sure that an adult is home to accept the delivery on the allotted date and time slot. If the driver arrives within this time slot and cannot get through to you via phone call and/or doorbell, then re-delivery charges will apply to get the order re-delivered. Should you choose to cancel your order following a missed delivery, we will initiate a refund for the total order amount, deducting the missed delivery charge.
Our delivered furniture items are often large and heavy, requiring careful consideration of access to your property. Please be aware that challenges such as numerous steps, narrow corridors, radiators, and restricted parking may impede our ability to complete the delivery successfully. Therefore, ensuring suitable access to your property is your responsibility. In cases where access is hindered, we may offer delivery to the nearest feasible point, such as your garage or the closest curbside. This allows you to make necessary arrangements to transport the product into your property.
Please note that due to safety reasons and insurance regulations, most deliveries are subject to ground floor only. Our delivery carriers will only be able to assess the safety of the situation upon arrival and decide whether it is safe and appropriate to deliver an order above ground floor. If deemed unsafe or inappropriate, the carriers may choose not to deliver above ground floor, regardless of the number of steps or whether lift access is available.
Should access issues persist, and successful re-delivery appears viable with the necessary measures taken, we will make an additional delivery attempt. However, please note that a re-delivery charge will apply in such circumstances. Alternatively, if re-delivery is not a viable option, we reserve the right to refund you the full price of the product minus missed delivery charge.
While we make every effort to ensure accurate delivery estimates, please be aware that unforeseen circumstances such as transportation issues, extreme weather conditions, or other logistical challenges, or postcode restrictions may impact the scheduled delivery times. We kindly request your understanding in such instances, as these factors are beyond our control. Consequently, Clickabode Ltd cannot be held responsible for any delays in the delivery of your purchased items.
Our online inventory is regularly updated to reflect current stock levels. However, due to the dynamic nature of our business, there may be instances where the availability of a product is inaccurately displayed on our website. In the rare event that you place an order for an item that is subsequently discovered to be out of stock, we will promptly notify you of the situation.
In the case of an out-of-stock item, you will be informed of the unavailability as soon as possible, and will be offered options to either wait for the item to come back in stock, or cancel the order for a full refund.
To keep you informed about your order status, we will send regular updates via email or other available communication channels. We encourage you to review these notifications for the latest information on your purchases.
By continuing to use our services, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of delivery delays and stock availability discrepancies outlined in this disclaimer.
SECTION 7 - RETURNS, DAMAGED ITEMS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
To qualify for a full product cost refund, return the unused product in its original, complete packaging, or repackage the product in a way that protects it from any potential damage during transit, which will allow us to resell it in an 'as new' condition. We understand that you may need to unpack the product for inspection, similar to how you would in a physical store. However, please proceed with caution and retain its original packaging until you've made a final decision to keep it.
If the product has been used, installed, or handled beyond reasonable inspection, rendering it unsuitable for resale as new, the value of the product may be reduced. In such cases, a partial refund may apply, or you may be charged for the diminished value.
Returns for unwanted items will be processed once the item has been returned to us and has been inspected. To process an unwanted return, please email us at returns@clickabode.co.uk
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 states that, as a customer, you have a legal right to either a refund, repair or replacement for products that arrive faulty/damaged or not how you expected.
It is important that you inspect a product at your earliest convenience and report any damages as soon as possible. If a product shows clear signs of damage on arrival, please sign for the order as damaged and notify us as soon as possible, which will prove to us that the damage was already there before you received it and that you did not cause the damage.
If you later discover what you believe to be a manufacturing defect or damage during transit:
-
Within 30 Days of Delivery: If a fault is confirmed within 30 days of delivery, please notify us, and you have the right to choose a full refund, repair, or replacement. We encourage customers to report any damage or faulty products within 48 hours of delivery.
- After 30 Days (Within 6 Months): If a fault is confirmed after 30 days but within 6 months of ownership, please inform us. You can choose between repair or replacement. In certain cases, we may be constrained to offer a specific resolution if one option proves disproportionate to the other. If the chosen resolution is not possible, you can opt to keep the product and receive a partial refund or return the product for a full refund.
- After 6 Months (but within 1 year): If a fault is identified 6 months after delivery, and you can prove that the fault was present at the time of delivery, the same resolution options as outlined in point 2 are available to you.
You have the option to cancel your order and request a refund if your order has not been dispatched. If the item has already been dispatched or has arrived, return shipping fees may apply, which will be the customer's responsibility to cover. These fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
In the event that the item has been dispatched but has not yet arrived, we may request you to accept the delivery and initiate an unwanted item return, as detailed above.
Most banks will process refunds within 3-5 working days, but for other payment options such as Klarna or Paypal, please allow up to 2 weeks for the refund to be processed. Unless stated otherwise, a refund will be issued to the payment method used to purchase an item. Please let us know if you would prefer to receive a refund using a different payment method.
SECTION 8 - WARRANTIES
The warranty is valid for a period of one year from the date of purchase, or sometimes from the date of delivery.
The manufacturer commits to repair or replace, at its discretion, any part or component of the product that is found to be defective due to materials or workmanship during the warranty period. This includes the following:
- Interior or pre-inserted fixings, for example loosening metal threads, leading to deterioration or loss.
- Faults in chair legs, such as bends or breaks resulting from joint issues.
- Faults in external fixings, such as the detachment of glued metal discs from tabletops.
- Loss of structural integrity in the product's frame.
- Our guarantee does not extend to light bulbs provided with our lighting products.
- Claims do not cover the cracking of wood or veneer resulting from extreme changes in room humidity, liquid damage, or exposure to external heat sources such as radiators.
- Claims related to colour deterioration in fabric will not be accepted if caused by contamination from sun damage, hair dye or other cosmetic products.
- Exceeding maximum load limits leading to damage voids any claim eligibility. Please ensure to verify the load limit for the purchased items.
- For outdoor furniture, it is advised not to leave cushions outside during wet weather. Any damage to the cushions due to exposure to adverse weather conditions is not covered under our guarantee.
- Light bulbs accompanying our lighting products are not included in our guarantee coverage.
- Damage caused by pets.
The warranty may become void if the consumer attempts unauthorised repairs or modifications to the product.
The warranty will not be transferable if the product is sold or given to someone else within the warranty period.
The manufacturer typically covers the cost of repairing or replacing defective parts during the warranty period. This is free of charge for the consumer.
The coverage period is limited to one year, and after this period, the consumer is responsible for any repair or replacement costs.
If you would like to make a claim for the 1 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty, please email us at returns@clickabode.co.uk
