Our solid pinewood bar stools are crafted through an extensive manufacturing process that highlights the natural beauty and durability of this wood species. After harvesting, we select the logs based on factors like size, grain & knot presence and overall quality. 

The pine lumber then undergoes kiln drying, a controlled process using heat and airflow to remove excess moisture. This is crucial for preventing warping, cracking, and ensuring dimensional stability in the final furniture piece. After drying, the lumber is passed through a planer to achieve a uniform thickness and smooth surface. Depending on the design, we may use various joinery techniques like mortise & tenon joints, dowel joints or dovetail joints to assemble different individual components. 

To elevate the aesthetic appeal, the pinewood stools undergo a careful treatment process involving the multiple applications of water-based stains and finishes. Our skilled craftsmen carefully select stains that bring out the richness, inherent colour variations and grain patterns in the natural wood. Finally, a clear coat of lacquer is applied to protect the wood surface from moisture, stains, and everyday wear and tear.

• Dust Regularly: Use a soft, dry cloth to regularly dust the surface of your pine wood stools, preventing the buildup of dirt and debris.
• Spills and Stains: Address spills and stains promptly. Blot up any liquids with a clean, absorbent cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Cleaning Solution: For occasional deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution (like a few drops of dish soap in warm water). Apply the solution to a damp cloth, wring it out well to avoid excess moisture, and wipe down the surface. Dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.

• Counter Height: Before making your decision, make sure to measure the distance from the floor to the underside of your countertop or bar to find out the best seat height for your bar stools. As a general rule, a gap of around 25cm to 30cm is suitable. This allows people to sit comfortably with ample legroom and promotes ergonomic seating at your countertop or bar.
