The manufacturing process of our tempered glass begins with selecting thick, high-quality float glass, which offers superior clarity and minimal imperfections, ensuring a flawless visual experience. 

The cut glass piece undergoes a tempering process for enhanced strength and safety. This involves heating the glass to a high temperature (around 600°C) and then rapidly cooling it with air blasts. This process creates compressive stress on the surface of the glass, making it significantly resistant to breakage and shattering, boasting 4 to 5 times the durability of standard glass with improved minor scratch & heat resistance. After tempering, the edges of the glass are polished to create a smooth and finished look.

We craft the Medium-Density Fibreboard (MDF) core by breaking down wood residuals into fibres. We then combine these fibres with wax and resin binders, creating a dense and sturdy board that forms the table's core. The manufacturing process results in a stable and robust foundation that ensures the table's longevity. 

After the MDF core is shaped, it undergoes a thorough priming process to prepare the surface for the application of the vinyl finish, where designers develop a lifelike wood grain pattern, which is digitally printed onto the vinyl surface using advanced technologies.

Craftsmen then apply the vinyl to the primed MDF core with precision, ensuring alignment to mimic natural wood grain, knots, and textures. Heat and pressure are applied during affixing, facilitating a secure bond and enhancing the realistic appearance. A protective coating is added for durability and resistance to wear, offering a warm and inviting alternative to traditional wood that is both aesthetically pleasing and easy to maintain.

Care guide

• Regular Dusting: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to dust the table's surface regularly to prevent the buildup of particles.
• Wipe with a Damp Cloth: For light cleaning, dampen a clean cloth with warm, soapy water, and gently wipe the glass. Rinse with a damp, clean cloth, and then dry with a lint-free cloth.
• Remove Spills Promptly: If any spills occur, blot them up immediately with a clean, damp cloth to prevent staining or etching on the glass.
• Use a Glass Cleaner: For a more thorough cleaning, apply a glass cleaner designed for glass and wipe with a lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or materials that may scratch the surface.
• Protect from Heat and Scratches: Despite our tempered glass being more minor scratch & heat resistant to standard glass, we recommend using coasters for glasses and hot mugs to safeguard it from potential heat damage and scratches. This simple step contributes to maintaining the table's pristine surface over the years.

Sizing Guide

Length: Measure the length of the wall or area where the console table will be placed. Ideally, your table should be about two-thirds of the wall's length or it should leave roughly 30cm on either side of the wall to achieve a balanced look without the table appearing lost or cramped.

Width: Measure the width of the hallway. Ensure at least 30-45 cm of clearance between your chosen table and any opposite walls or furniture. This allows for comfortable passage and prevents a crowded feel.

Consider Its Function:

• Entryway Console: If the console is intended to be a hallway table for holding keys, mail, or small items, opting for a narrower depth (30-40cm) is beneficial to ensure a practical and uncluttered entrance space.
• Living Room Console: In the living room, where the console is often a focal point for decorative items or cherished photos, consider a longer (100-120cm) and taller table. This provides an expansive surface for creating artful displays, allowing you to showcase your personal style.
• Behind the Sofa: Placing a console table behind the sofa can be a strategic design choice. To achieve a harmonious look, opt for a shorter table that complements the height of the sofa. The console table's width should be about two-thirds the length of your sofa to ensure the table doesn't block the view or disrupt the visual continuity in the room. 
• In the Bedroom: Choose a height that sits slightly above your bed frame for a cohesive look, and ensure the length of the table doesn't exceed the bed's width to maintain easy access and prevent a congested feel.
