Tempered Glass Tabletop

Tempered glass dining tables are a contemporary and durable addition to modern dining spaces, combining style and resilience. The manufacturing process of our tempered glass begins with selecting thick, high-quality float glass, which offers superior clarity and minimal imperfections, ensuring a flawless visual experience. 

The cut glass piece undergoes a tempering process for enhanced strength and safety. This involves heating the glass to a high temperature (around 600°C) and then rapidly cooling it with air blasts. This process creates compressive stress on the surface of the glass, making it significantly resistant to breakage and shattering, boasting 4 to 5 times the durability of standard glass with improved minor scratch & heat resistance. After tempering, the edges of the glass are polished to create a smooth and finished look.

Glide & Pullout Extension Mechanism

This table features an integrated glide and pullout extension mechanism, with a foldable extension panel tucked underneath the centre of the tabletop. To extend, simply pull the table outwards to unveil the hidden panel which can be unfolded with a smooth motion. Once unfolded, simply push the table back together and it will automatically lock into place, creating a smooth and continuous surface, allowing for an extra 2 guests when needed. To return the table to its original size, gently pull it apart, fold the panel back to its initial position, and once aligned, smoothly push the table back together.

Matte White MDF Base

Our MDF table bases are manufactured by compressing solid wood fibres and resin. The MDF is shaped into the desired base design through cutting and precision milling. 

To achieve the matte white gloss finish, multiple layers of high-quality lacquer are applied to the base. This lacquer is meticulously smoothed between each layer to ensure a flawless, consistent surface. 

Once the final coat is in place, the base is carefully cured under controlled conditions. This curing process not only hardens the lacquer but also enhances its durability and offers remarkable resistance to stains.

Care guide

• Regular Dusting: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to dust the table's surface regularly to prevent the buildup of particles.
• Wipe with a Damp Cloth: For light cleaning, dampen a clean cloth with warm, soapy water, and gently wipe the glass. Rinse with a damp, clean cloth, and then dry with a lint-free cloth.
• Remove Spills Promptly: If any spills occur, blot them up immediately with a clean, damp cloth to prevent staining or etching on the glass.
• Use a Glass Cleaner: For a more thorough cleaning, apply a glass cleaner designed for glass and wipe with a lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or materials that may scratch the surface.
• Protect from Heat and Moisture: Despite our tempered glass being more minor scratch & heat resistant to standard glass, we recommend using coasters or placements for hot dishes, plates & cutlery to safeguard it from potential heat damage and scratches. This simple step contributes to maintaining the table's pristine surface over the years.

Sizing Guide

• Space: Allow around 90 cm (36 inches) of clearance between the table and the walls or other furniture to ensure comfortable seating and movement.
• Table Shape: For long rooms and open spaces, rectangular or oval tables often are the most natural fit, maximising space utilisation and creating a balanced look. Round or square tables can also work if you want to leave extra room for additional furniture pieces to complement your dining area. For smaller dining areas, round or square tables are often the ideal choice, promoting conversation and creating a sense of intimacy.
