The manufacturing process of our tempered glass begins with selecting thick, high-quality float glass, which offers superior clarity and minimal imperfections, ensuring a flawless visual experience. 

The cut glass piece undergoes a tempering process for enhanced strength and safety. This involves heating the glass to a high temperature (around 600°C) and then rapidly cooling it with air blasts. This process creates compressive stress on the surface of the glass, making it significantly resistant to breakage and shattering, boasting 4 to 5 times the durability of standard glass with improved minor scratch & heat resistance. After tempering, the edges of the glass are polished to create a smooth and finished look.

MDF Base With White High Gloss/Oak Vinyl Finish

Our MDF table bases are manufactured by compressing solid wood fibres and resin. The MDF is shaped into the desired base design through cutting and precision milling. 

To achieve the high gloss finish, multiple layers of high-quality lacquer are applied to the base. This lacquer is meticulously smoothed between each layer to ensure a flawless, mirror-like surface. 

Once the final coat is in place, the base is carefully cured under controlled conditions. This curing process not only hardens the lacquer but also enhances its shine and offers remarkable resistance to stains.

The second choice for the base is finished with a wood effect vinyl, where designers develop a lifelike wood grain pattern, which is digitally printed onto the vinyl surface using advanced technologies. Craftsmen then apply the vinyl to the primed MDF core with precision, ensuring alignment to mimic natural wood grain, knots, and textures. Heat and pressure are applied during affixing, facilitating a secure bond and enhancing the realistic appearance. A protective coating is added for durability and resistance to wear, offering a warm and inviting alternative to traditional wood that is both aesthetically pleasing and easy to maintain.

Care Guide

• Regular Dusting: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to dust the table's surface regularly to prevent the buildup of particles.
• Wipe with a Damp Cloth: For light cleaning, dampen a clean cloth with warm, soapy water, and gently wipe the glass. Rinse with a damp, clean cloth, and then dry with a lint-free cloth.
• Remove Spills Promptly: If any spills occur, blot them up immediately with a clean, damp cloth to prevent staining or etching on the glass.
• Use a Glass Cleaner: For a more thorough cleaning, apply a glass cleaner designed for glass and wipe with a lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or materials that may scratch the surface.
• Protect from Heat and Scratches: Despite our tempered glass being more minor scratch & heat resistant to standard glass, we recommend using coasters for glasses and hot mugs to safeguard it from potential heat damage and scratches. This simple step contributes to maintaining the table's pristine surface over the years.

Sizing Guide

Distance from Seating: Leave approximately 45-60cm between the coffee table and the seating to ensure an unrestricted flow within the living room and ample space for comfortable movement. 

Measure Your Sofa: Aim for a coffee table that’s roughly two-thirds the length of your sofa for a balanced and proportional look. 

Height: Aim for a coffee table that sits within 5-10cm of your sofa's seat height. This ensures a comfortable reaching distance for items on the table, making it convenient for activities such as grabbing a magazine or setting down a cup.

Factor in Other Furniture: Leave a distance of approximately 75cm between the coffee table and other pieces of furniture, such as TVs or armchairs to prevent a cluttered feel. 

Consider The Shape of Your Living Room:

• For smaller living rooms, round or oval coffee tables will help create a more open and spacious feel. 
• For long & narrow living rooms, a rectangular coffee table will fit perfectly as it elongates the room visually, balancing out the narrowness.
