Polypropylene Frame

Creating our sturdy plastic dining chairs requires a specialised approach. We use high-grade polypropylene, known for its durability and lightweight properties. 

Our polypropylene (PP) plastic chairs undergo a multi-step manufacturing process that begins with the selection of high-quality polypropylene pellets. In the injection moulding stage, these pellets are melted and injected into a carefully designed mould to shape the entire chair, including the seat and backrest. Rapid cooling follows to solidify the molten polypropylene, and the demoulding phase ensures the chair retains its intended structure. After cooling and solidification, the chair parts are assembled to form the final chair design.

Our PP plastic chairs are then put through quality control tests, including weight capacity, impact, durability, UV resistance, stability, and materials testing, to ensure they meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

Velvet Upholstery

Our velvet is made from a carefully curated blend of polyester and cotton fibres, and the manufacturing process involves weaving these fibres into a dense pile fabric.

This process creates a series of closely spaced, evenly cut loops on the fabric's surface, which we then shear to create a smooth, dense pile. Chrome Plated Metal Legs

Creating the metal legs with a stunning chrome finish is a multi-step process. It begins with cutting and shaping the metal to the desired design, followed by precision welding for stability. After this, we carefully grind the surfaces to smooth perfection. 

Next comes the electroplating process. The first layer involves electroplating the base with a thin layer of copper and nickel, which enhances corrosion resistance and provides a smoother surface for the final chrome plating. Finally, the electroplating process deposits a thin layer of chromium onto the nickel layer. The thickness of the chrome plating determines the final level of reflectivity and mirror-like finish. The newly chrome-plated base is polished to a brilliant shine, highlighting the reflective properties of the chromium layer and accentuating its aesthetic appeal.

Care guide

• General Cleaning: Avoid using harsh chemicals or detergents, as they can damage the fabric and cause fading. Spot cleaning is recommended for most stains. Avoid overall washing, as it can shrink or distort the fabric.
• Spot Cleaning: Address spills promptly by blotting the affected area with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, as it can push the spill deeper into the fabric. For liquid spills, use a paper towel to soak up as much as possible before blotting.
• Gentle touch: Avoid using harsh brushes or abrasive cleaning tools, as they can damage the delicate fibres. 
• Use Mild Cleaning Agents: Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or strong cleaning agents on velvet dining chairs to prevent fabric damage, colour fading, and texture alteration. Opt for gentle, water-based cleaning solutions and always test in a small, inconspicuous area before application to ensure compatibility.
• Occasional Vacuuming: Vacuum your velvet chairs occasionally to help remove deeper dirt, dust mites and pet hair that can accumulate in the fabric. Use the lowest suction setting on your vacuum cleaner & always vacuum in the direction of the nap to avoid damaging the fibres and pay extra attention to the seams and crevices where dirt can accumulate.

Sizing Guide

Chair Spacing: Maintain a space of at least 15cm between dining chairs to prevent overcrowding. Adequate spacing allows diners to move in and out of their seats easily, promoting a more enjoyable and functional dining experience. Consider the overall dimensions of the dining area when determining the optimal chair spacing.

Space to Move: Leave around 60cm between the chair back and your wall. This allows you and your guests to sit comfortably and manoeuvre without feeling cramped. Proper proximity ensures a seamless dining experience, allowing people to access their seats with ease.

Number of Chairs: Assess the available space around the dining table to determine the practical number of chairs that can comfortably fit. Consider the table's size, shape, and room dimensions to ensure adequate spacing between chairs for both visual appeal and ease of movement. Below is a general guide, but these are flexible dependent on the chair size and desired level of comfort:

Rectangular Tables

• 100cm or below: 4 people
• 110cm-170cm: 4-6 People
• 180cm-220cm: 6-8 People
• 230cm and above: 10+ People

Round Tables

• 60cm-80cm: 2 People
• 90cm-110cm: 4 People
• 120cm-150cm: 4-6 People
