Next comes the electroplating process. The first layer involves electroplating the base with a thin layer of copper and nickel, which enhances corrosion resistance and provides a smoother surface for the final chrome plating. • Spot Cleaning: Address spills promptly by blotting the affected area with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, as it can push the spill deeper into the fabric. For liquid spills, use a paper towel to soak up as much as possible before blotting.
• Gentle touch: Avoid using harsh brushes or abrasive cleaning tools, as they can damage the delicate fibres. 
• Use Mild Cleaning Agents: Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or strong cleaning agents on velvet dining chairs to prevent fabric damage, colour fading, and texture alteration. Opt for gentle, water-based cleaning solutions and always test in a small, inconspicuous area before application to ensure compatibility.

Below is a general guide, but these are flexible dependent on the chair size and desired level of comfort:
