Tempered glass coffee tables are a contemporary and durable addition to modern living spaces, combining style and resilience. The manufacturing process of our tempered glass begins with selecting thick, high-quality float glass, which offers superior clarity and minimal imperfections, ensuring a flawless visual experience. 

The cut glass piece undergoes a tempering process for enhanced strength and safety. This involves heating the glass to a high temperature (around 600°C) and then rapidly cooling it with air blasts. This process creates compressive stress on the surface of the glass, making it significantly resistant to breakage and shattering, boasting 4 to 5 times the durability of standard glass with improved minor scratch & heat resistance. After tempering, the edges of the glass are polished to create a smooth and finished look.

Creating our stainless steel table legs with a stunning gold/chrome finish is a multi-step process. It begins with cutting and shaping the metal to the desired design, followed by precision welding for stability. After this, we carefully grind the surfaces to smooth perfection. 

For the gold finish, a thin layer of copper, followed by a layer of bright nickel which offers a higher reflectivity, are electroplated, laying the foundation for the gold colour. The final step involves electroplating the base with gold alloy for a luxurious touch. The newly gold-plated legs are polished to a brilliant shine, highlighting the reflective properties of the chromium layer and accentuating its aesthetic appeal.

The chrome finish involves a slightly different process. The first layer involves electroplating the legs with a thin layer of copper and nickel, which enhances corrosion resistance and provides a smoother surface for the final chrome plating. Finally, the electroplating process deposits a thin layer of chromium onto the nickel layer. The thickness of the chrome plating determines the final level of reflectivity and mirror-like finish. The newly chrome-plated legs are polished to a brilliant shine, highlighting the reflective properties of the chromium layer and accentuating its aesthetic appeal.

Care Guide

• Regular Dusting: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to dust the table's surface regularly to prevent the buildup of particles.
• Wipe with a Damp Cloth: For light cleaning, dampen a clean cloth with warm, soapy water, and gently wipe the glass. Rinse with a damp, clean cloth, and then dry with a lint-free cloth.
• Remove Spills Promptly: If any spills occur, blot them up immediately with a clean, damp cloth to prevent staining or etching on the glass.
• Use a Glass Cleaner: For a more thorough cleaning, apply a glass cleaner designed for glass and wipe with a lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or materials that may scratch the surface.
• Protect from Heat and Scratches: Despite our tempered glass being more minor scratch & heat resistant to standard glass, we recommend using coasters for glasses and hot mugs to safeguard it from potential heat damage and scratches. This simple step contributes to maintaining the table's pristine surface over the years.

Sizing Guide

Distance from Seating: Leave approximately 45-60cm between the coffee table and the seating to ensure an unrestricted flow within the living room and ample space for comfortable movement. 

Measure Your Sofa: Aim for a coffee table that’s roughly two-thirds the length of your sofa for a balanced and proportional look. 

Height: Aim for a coffee table that sits within 5-10cm of your sofa's seat height. This ensures a comfortable reaching distance for items on the table, making it convenient for activities such as grabbing a magazine or setting down a cup.

Factor in Other Furniture: Leave a distance of approximately 75cm between the coffee table and other pieces of furniture, such as TVs or armchairs to prevent a cluttered feel. 

Consider The Shape of Your Living Room:
