Our manufacturing process for our genuine leather dining chairs begins with the selection of premium full-grain or top-grain hides. These hides are chosen for their superior durability, natural beauty, and unique variations in grain texture. Unlike PU leather, genuine leather requires no base fabric. Instead, the hides undergo a tanning process to preserve and strengthen the material. This tanning process also enhances the leather's natural suppleness and rich colour. 

For a wider variety of colour options, some of our hides also undergo a dyeing process. This dyeing is achieved using high-quality pigments that penetrate deep into the leather fibres, ensuring colorfastness and lasting vibrancy. The dyeing process allows us to offer a spectrum of colours, from classic tones to modern hues, without compromising the natural beauty and luxurious feel of the leather. 

Following this, the leather hides are meticulously cut and sewn to fit the chair frames. Skilled artisans ensure a flawless finish that complements the inherent beauty of the natural material. To enhance the leather's protective qualities and rich lustre, a final conditioning treatment is applied. This conditioning not only guards against stains and scratches but also deepens the leather's colour, resulting in a timeless and visually stunning material for crafting luxurious and long-lasting dining chairs.

Matte Black Powder Coated Metal Legs

Crafted with precision, these dining chairs feature metal legs diligently shaped and welded to create a sturdy and stable foundation. We then apply a matte black powder coating through an electrostatic spray, where finely ground powder particles are evenly distributed across the metal surface. It's then cured under controlled heat to ensure a long-lasting finish that resists wear and tear, protecting your dining chairs from corrosion and damage, all while adding a sleek, contemporary touch to your dining space.

Foam Cushioning

Our dining chairs are fitted with thoughtfully crafted foam cushioning, made from high-quality polyurethane foam. The manufacturing process is extensive, starting with the precise combination of chemical ingredients like polyols and isocyanates. This controlled reaction produces a foam-like material. By introducing gas, we expand this mixture, resulting in lightweight yet supportive, body-conforming foam. 

The foam is then cut and shaped to fit the chair's design. To ensure durability, we subject the foam to extensive testing, including compression and abrasion tests. These tests simulate the wear and tear the foam might experience during everyday use, such as people sitting and getting up from the chair.

Care guide

• Regular Dusting: Dust your chairs frequently with a soft, dry cloth to remove loose dirt and prevent dust build-up, which can scratch the leather surface.
• Gentle Cleaning: For minor spills or dirt marks, use a damp microfibre cloth with distilled water. Wipe the affected area gently in circular motions. Avoid using excessive water, as it can saturate the leather and cause damage. Let the leather air dry completely before use.
• Spot Cleaning: For tougher stains, address them promptly. Use a leather cleaner specifically formulated for genuine leather. 
• Conditioning: To maintain the leather's suppleness and natural oils, apply a high-quality leather conditioner once or twice a year. This will help prevent the leather from drying out and cracking.

Sizing Guide

Chair Spacing: Maintain a space of at least 15cm between dining chairs to prevent overcrowding. Adequate spacing allows diners to move in and out of their seats easily, promoting a more enjoyable and functional dining experience. Consider the overall dimensions of the dining area when determining the optimal chair spacing.

Space to Move: Leave around 60cm between the chair back and your wall. This allows you and your guests to sit comfortably and manoeuvre without feeling cramped. Proper proximity ensures a seamless dining experience, allowing people to access their seats with ease.

Number of Chairs: Assess the available space around the dining table to determine the practical number of chairs that can comfortably fit. Consider the table's size, shape, and room dimensions to ensure adequate spacing between chairs for both visual appeal and ease of movement. Below is a general guide, but these are flexible dependent on the chair size and desired level of comfort:

Rectangular Tables

• 100cm or below: 4 people
• 110cm-170cm: 4-6 People
• 180cm-220cm: 6-8 People
• 230cm and above: 10+ People

Round Tables

• 60cm-80cm: 2 People
• 90cm-110cm: 4 People
• 120cm-150cm: 4-6 People
