PU Leather Upholstered Dining Bench

Our manufacturing process of PU leather begins with the creation of a fabric base, made of polyester. This fabric forms the foundation for the PU coating. A polyurethane layer is then applied to this base, creating the leather-like texture. This fabric undergoes a bonding process with a polyurethane layer, achieved through heat and pressure application, creating the characteristic leather-like texture.

Following the bonding of polyurethane to a fabric base, the PU leather undergoes essential treatments. Through embossing, natural grain patterns are replicated, creating a tactile feel that closely resembles genuine leather. Colouration, achieved through pigments or dyes, offers a broad spectrum of colours, from classic tones to vibrant shades, catering to diverse design preferences. 

Finally, an additional coating and finishing treatment is applied, contributing to its durability, creating a protective layer against stains and scratches, while adding a polished lustre to the PU leather, resulting in a visually appealing and versatile material for crafting stylish and resilient benches.

Foam Cushioning

This dining bench is fitted with thoughtfully crafted foam cushioning, made from high-quality polyurethane foam. The manufacturing process is extensive, starting with the precise combination of chemical ingredients like polyols and isocyanates. This controlled reaction produces a foam-like material. By introducing gas, we expand this mixture, resulting in lightweight yet supportive, body-conforming foam. 

The foam is then cut and shaped to fit the bench's design. To ensure durability, we subject the foam to extensive testing, including compression and abrasion tests. These tests simulate the wear and tear the foam might experience during everyday use, such as people sitting and getting up from the bench.

Matte Black Powder Coated Metal Frame

Our matte black powder coated metal frames undergo a fascinating transformation, marrying industrial strength with sophisticated aesthetics. The journey begins with choosing the right metal - steel is a popular choice due to its strength & durability. Using techniques like laser cutting, CNC machining, or bending, we transform the metal into the desired frame shape with high accuracy. It then undergoes degreasing to get rid of any surface contaminants for optimal adhesion of the coating. 

The heart of the process lies in the electrostatic powder coating - dry, finely ground particles of paint resins & hardeners, are sprayed onto the charged metal frame. The coated frame is then baked at 350°C, followed by slow cooling, to melt and solidify the powder into a durable finish that resists corrosion and daily wear & tear.

Care guide

• Regular Cleaning: Gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth on a routine basis to effectively remove dust particles and prevent the accumulation of dirt. This practice not only ensures a consistently clean and polished look but also safeguards against potential abrasions that can occur when dirt particles settle on the surface over time.
• Spot Clean: Promptly address spills by gently blotting the affected area with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, as it may drive the spill deeper into the PU leather. For liquid spills, use a paper towel to absorb as much as possible before blotting.
• Gentle touch: Avoid using harsh brushes or abrasive cleaning tools, as they can damage the fibres. 
• Mild Cleaning Agents: Avoid using harsh chemicals, bleach, or potent cleaning agents when caring for PU leather. Opt for gentle, water-based cleaning solutions and test it on a small area to ensure compatibility before application.

• Number of People: Consider the number of people you wish to accommodate on the bench and allow roughly 40cm-50cm of width per person. This ensures a spacious and comfortable seating experience, allowing guests to sit without feeling cramped.
• Clearance Space: Consider the available space in your dining area. If the bench is positioned against a wall, be mindful to leave a recommended clearance of 50cm to facilitate comfortable entry and exit.
