Our solid oak side tables, renowned for their timeless elegance and enduring strength, undergo a meticulous manufacturing process. The journey begins with the selection of premium oak for its strength, grain patterns, and distinctive character. 

The chosen logs undergo kiln drying, a controlled process using heat and airflow to reduce moisture content to a specific level. This crucial step prevents warping, cracking, and ensures structure integrity over time. 

Seasoned logs are then cut into planks of desired thickness using band saws. Depending on the design, we may use various joinery techniques like mortise & tenon joints, dowel joints or dovetail joints to assemble different individual components.

To enhance the natural beauty of the oak, we apply eco-friendly stains or oils to highlight the wood's grain patterns and rich tones. Finally, a layer of protective sealant is applied to safeguard the wood from everyday wear and tear, moisture, and stains, ensuring the furniture's longevity.

• Dust Regularly: Use a soft, dry cloth to regularly dust the surface of your oak wood furniture, preventing the buildup of dirt and debris.
• Spills and Stains: Address spills and stains promptly. Blot up any liquids with a clean, absorbent cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Cleaning Solution: For occasional deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution (like a few drops of dish soap in warm water). Apply the solution to a damp cloth, wring it out well to avoid excess moisture, and wipe down the table surface. Dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.

Sizing Guide

• Measure Your Seating: Begin by measuring the height of the armrests on your sofa or chair where the side table will be placed. This helps determine the ideal height of your side table for easy access. Aim for the tabletop to be within 2.5-5 cm of the armrest height.
• Clearance: To ensure a sense of openness and avoid a cramped ambiance, aim to leave 30-45cm of clearance between the side table & other furniture (when placed next to a sofa/armchair) to allow for comfortable movement and prevent the space from feeling crowded. 
• Depth: The side table's depth should be shallower than the depth of your sofa or armchair to avoid protruding and creating an obstructed feeling. Aim for a depth difference of 7-15 cm.
