Ceramic is a type of material known for its exceptional durability and versatility. Our ceramic is manufactured by heating natural clay, minerals, and other raw materials at high temperatures, which leads to a dense, hard, and non-porous surface.This process hardens the ceramic, removes moisture, and enhances its strength and durability.  

Once fired, the ceramic base is ground and polished to achieve a smooth and level surface. This step ensures the surface is prepared for the lacquer application. Multiple layers of a high-gloss lacquer are applied to the ceramic base. This lacquer is specially formulated to mimic the appearance of real marble, incorporating pigments and textures to achieve realistic marble veining and patterns. Each layer is allowed to dry thoroughly before applying the next. 

After the final lacquer layer is applied, the entire table undergoes a curing process to ensure the lacquer hardens completely and achieves its optimal gloss and durability.

Extension mechanism

The extending variant features a user-friendly ball bearing glide mechanism, seamlessly incorporating a hidden central panel underneath. To extend, simply pull the table apart, revealing a discreet panel nestled underneath. As you pull, the panel will rise to the same level as the tabletop. A click confirms its secure lock, after which you can push the two halves back together to create a smooth and continuous surface, creating space for 2 extra guests when needed. To return the table back to its original size, simply pull the table outwards, and the ball bearing glide mechanism will allow the central panel to sink back down, as you push the two halves back together.

• Coasters & Placemats: While ceramic tables are resilient, using coasters under glasses and placing hot dishes on placemats or trivets is a good practice. This prevents potential heat damage and helps preserve the table's surface over time.
• Prompt Spill Cleanup: Promptly clean up spills to prevent staining. The non-porous nature of ceramic helps resist absorption, but swift action ensures the table stays pristine.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Never use harsh cleaners, scouring pads, acidic products like vinegar or citrus juice, or bleach on your ceramic marble table.These can damage the lacquer finish and potentially even the ceramic itself.

Sizing Guide

• Space: Allow at least 90 cm (36 inches) of clearance between the table and the walls or other furniture to ensure comfortable seating and movement.
• Table Shape: For long rooms and open spaces, rectangular or oval tables often are the most natural fit, maximising space utilisation and creating a balanced look. Round or square tables can also work if you want to leave extra room for additional furniture pieces to complement your dining area. For smaller dining areas, round or square tables are often the ideal choice, promoting conversation and creating a sense of intimacy.
