PU Leather Upholstery

The process begins with the creation of a fabric base, made of polyester. This fabric forms the foundation for the PU coating. A polyurethane layer is then applied to this base, creating the leather-like texture. This fabric undergoes a bonding process with a polyurethane layer, achieved through heat and pressure application, creating the characteristic leather-like texture.

Following the bonding of polyurethane to a fabric base, the PU leather undergoes essential treatments. Through embossing, natural grain patterns are replicated, creating a tactile feel that closely resembles genuine leather. Colouration, achieved through pigments or dyes, offers a broad spectrum of colours, from classic tones to vibrant shades, catering to diverse design preferences. 

Finally, an additional coating and finishing treatment is applied, contributing to its durability, creating a protective layer against stains and scratches, while adding a polished lustre to the PU leather, resulting in a visually appealing and versatile material for crafting stylish and resilient chairs.

Chrome Plated Metal Legs

Creating the metal legs with a stunning chrome finish is a multi-step process. It begins with cutting and shaping the metal to the desired design, followed by precision welding for stability. After this, we carefully grind the surfaces to smooth perfection. 

Next comes the electroplating process. The first layer involves electroplating the base with a thin layer of copper and nickel, which enhances corrosion resistance and provides a smoother surface for the final chrome plating. Finally, the electroplating process deposits a thin layer of chromium onto the nickel layer. The thickness of the chrome plating determines the final level of reflectivity and mirror-like finish. The newly chrome-plated base is polished to a brilliant shine, highlighting the reflective properties of the chromium layer and accentuating its aesthetic appeal.

Foam Cushioning

Our dining chairs are fitted with thoughtfully crafted foam cushioning, made from high-quality polyurethane foam. The manufacturing process is extensive, starting with the precise combination of chemical ingredients like polyols and isocyanates. This controlled reaction produces a foam-like material. By introducing gas, we expand this mixture, resulting in lightweight yet supportive, body-conforming foam. 

The foam is then cut and shaped to fit the chair's design. To ensure durability, we subject the foam to extensive testing, including compression and abrasion tests. These tests simulate the wear and tear the foam might experience during everyday use, such as people sitting and getting up from the chair.

Care guide

• Regular Cleaning: Gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth on a routine basis to effectively remove dust particles and prevent the accumulation of dirt. This practice not only ensures a consistently clean and polished look but also safeguards against potential abrasions that can occur when dirt particles settle on the surface over time.
• Spot Clean: Promptly address spills by gently blotting the affected area with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, as it may drive the spill deeper into the PU leather. For liquid spills, use a paper towel to absorb as much as possible before blotting.
• Gentle touch: Avoid using harsh brushes or abrasive cleaning tools, as they can damage the fibres. 
• Mild Cleaning Agents: Avoid using harsh chemicals, bleach, or potent cleaning agents when caring for PU leather. Opt for gentle, water-based cleaning solutions and test it on a small area to ensure compatibility before application.

Sizing Guide

Chair Spacing: Maintain a space of at least 15cm between dining chairs to prevent overcrowding. Adequate spacing allows diners to move in and out of their seats easily, promoting a more enjoyable and functional dining experience. Consider the overall dimensions of the dining area when determining the optimal chair spacing.

Space to Move: Leave around 60cm between the chair back and your wall. This allows you and your guests to sit comfortably and manoeuvre without feeling cramped. Proper proximity ensures a seamless dining experience, allowing people to access their seats with ease.

Number of Chairs: Assess the available space around the dining table to determine the practical number of chairs that can comfortably fit. Consider the table's size, shape, and room dimensions to ensure adequate spacing between chairs for both visual appeal and ease of movement. Below is a general guide, but these are flexible dependent on the chair size and desired level of comfort:

Rectangular Tables

• 100cm or below: 4 people
• 110cm-170cm: 4-6 People
• 180cm-220cm: 6-8 People
• 230cm and above: 10+ People

Round Tables

• 60cm-80cm: 2 People
• 90cm-110cm: 4 People
• 120cm-150cm: 4-6 People
