Sintered stone is a remarkable man-made material that is designed to replicate the beauty and durability of natural stone while enhancing its practicality. We manufacture our sintered stone with a fusion of natural minerals, inorganic pigments, and sophisticated binders. 

These elements are carefully combined to create a slurry, which is then poured into moulds. The mixture undergoes a process of sintering, where extreme heat and pressure are applied, essentially replicating the natural formation of stone over thousands of years in a matter of hours. 

This results in a material that is exceptionally hard, dense, and durable. Once the sintering process is complete, we then precisely cut it into slabs, and apply a protective top layer. This layer provides resistance against stains and daily wear, making it an ideal choice for coffee tables.

Matte Grey Powder Coated Metal Base

Our matte grey powder coated metal frames undergo a fascinating transformation, marrying industrial strength with sophisticated aesthetics. The journey begins with choosing the right metal - steel is a popular choice due to its strength & durability. Using techniques like laser cutting, CNC machining, or bending, we transform the metal into the desired frame shape with high accuracy. It then undergoes degreasing to get rid of any surface contaminants for optimal adhesion of the coating. 

The heart of the process lies in the electrostatic powder coating - dry, finely ground particles of paint resins & hardeners, are sprayed onto the charged metal frame. The coated frame is then baked at 350°C, followed by slow cooling, to melt and solidify the powder into a durable finish that resists corrosion and daily wear & tear.

Care Guide

• Regular Cleaning: For routine maintenance, wipe your sintered stone table with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild soap solution for any stubborn stains, but avoid abrasive cleaners that can dull the surface.
• Prompt Spill Cleanup: Spills should be wiped up promptly to prevent staining. Although sintered stone is more stain-resistant than natural stone, certain substances, if left unattended, can penetrate the sealant.
• Use Placemats: While sintered stone boasts a heat resistant surface, it is still advisable to protect the table's surface by using coasters under glasses and hot mugs to ensure the table maintains its aesthetic appeal over time.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, acidic products (vinegar, citrus cleaners), or bleach, as they can dull the finish, etch the surface, or cause permanent stains.

Sizing Guide

Distance from Seating: Leave approximately 45-60cm between the coffee table and the seating to ensure an unrestricted flow within the living room and ample space for comfortable movement. 

Measure Your Sofa: Aim for a coffee table that’s roughly two-thirds the length of your sofa for a balanced and proportional look. 

Height: Aim for a coffee table that sits within 5-10cm of your sofa's seat height. This ensures a comfortable reaching distance for items on the table, making it convenient for activities such as grabbing a magazine or setting down a cup.

Factor in Other Furniture: Leave a distance of approximately 75cm between the coffee table and other pieces of furniture, such as TVs or armchairs to prevent a cluttered feel.
