Our MDF coffee tables with a wood effect vinyl finish are the perfect blend of versatility, affordability, and aesthetic appeal. We craft our Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) by breaking down wood residuals into fibres. We then combine these fibres with wax and resin binders, creating a dense and sturdy board that forms the table's core. The manufacturing process results in a stable and robust foundation that ensures the table's longevity. 

The wood effect vinyl, a material designed to mimic the appearance of wood, is precisely measured, cut, and applied to the adhesive-coated MDF surface. Alignment and trimming are done with precision for a seamless appearance. Finally, a topcoat or sealant is added to enhance durability and provide a realistic finish, contributing to the wood effect's natural appearance and protecting against minor stains & scratches.

Stainless Steel Base

Transforming a simple stainless steel base into a dazzling centrepiece starts with selecting the appropriate grade of stainless steel for the table based on the desired level of corrosion resistance. 

The chosen stainless steel sheet is precisely cut into the desired shapes and dimensions of the base components using laser cutting, ensuring clean edges and minimal material waste. The individual bent and formed pieces are then welded together to create the complete base structure using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. The welded base undergoes grinding to remove any imperfections, welding marks, and achieve a smooth surface finish.

The base is then buffed using progressively finer abrasive materials to achieve a mirror-like finish. This process gradually removes surface irregularities and polishes the metal to a reflective shine. A thin layer of clear lacquer is applied to the polished chrome finish for added protection against smudges and minor scratches.

Care Guide

• Regular Cleaning: Dust your table regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove everyday dust and debris. Avoid using abrasive cloths or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the vinyl surface.
• Spills and Stains: Act promptly when spills occur. Blot up liquids with a clean, absorbent cloth like microfibre. Never rub, as this can spread the stain.
• For Deep Cleaning: Use a gentle cleaning solution like a mixture of warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap. Apply the solution to a damp cloth, wring it out well to avoid excess moisture, and wipe down the affected area. Dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Avoid the use of abrasive cleaners that can damage the vinyl surface. Opt for mild, non-abrasive cleaning agents to maintain the wood effect's quality, ensuring the table retains its realistic appearance.

Sizing Guide

Distance from Seating: Leave approximately 45-60cm between the coffee table and the seating to ensure an unrestricted flow within the living room and ample space for comfortable movement. 

Measure Your Sofa: Aim for a coffee table that’s roughly two-thirds the length of your sofa for a balanced and proportional look. 

Height: Aim for a coffee table that sits within 5-10cm of your sofa's seat height. This ensures a comfortable reaching distance for items on the table, making it convenient for activities such as grabbing a magazine or setting down a cup.

Factor in Other Furniture: Leave a distance of approximately 75cm between the coffee table and other pieces of furniture, such as TVs or armchairs to prevent a cluttered feel. 

Consider The Shape of Your Living Room:

• For smaller living rooms, round or oval coffee tables will help create a more open and spacious feel.
